How is this different from regular voice typing?
Regular voice typing transcribes your words exactly — every "um," every half-finished sentence. Moogoose is different. You give rough spoken instructions like "say yes to Friday, suggest the Italian place," and Moogoose composes a complete, polished reply. It reads the conversation, understands the context, and writes what you actually mean — not just what you said out loud.
Does Moogoose work as a voice keyboard in WhatsApp and other Android apps?
Yes. Moogoose works anywhere Android lets you type, including WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and web forms. Switch to the Moogoose keyboard, tap the Moogoose button, and speak what you want the reply to say.
Can Moogoose help people who find typing difficult or painful?
Yes. Moogoose is designed as an accessible voice keyboard for people with motor disabilities and conditions such as Parkinson's, arthritis, tremor, or RSI, as well as older people who find small touchscreen keyboards difficult. You can compose clear messages from short spoken instructions with minimal typing.
Can Moogoose help with dyslexia, ADHD, or autism?
Yes. Moogoose helps turn rough, incomplete, or disorganised spoken thoughts into clear written replies. It can handle spelling, grammar, structure, and tone, use the visible conversation for context, and read the finished draft aloud before you send it.
Can blind users use this?
Yes. The core workflow is fully voice-based — speak your instruction, hear the reply read back, approve and send. You don't need to read the screen to compose and send a reply. Moogoose can also summarise incoming messages aloud, so you know what you're replying to. We're actively working on improving accessibility across the whole app, including the setup process.
Will people know I'm using an app?
No. The replies Moogoose composes sound natural and personal — like you wrote them yourself. Your personal profile ensures the tone, vocabulary, and style match how you actually communicate. Nobody on the other end will know you had help.
What if it gets something wrong?
You're always in control. Every reply Moogoose composes is shown to you before it is sent as a message. You can edit, regenerate, or discard it. Moogoose may send conversation context and your instructions to Google AI services / Gemini to draft or refine a reply, but Moogoose never sends the reply to your conversation until you approve it. You can also refine by voice — just say "make it shorter" or "more formal" and Moogoose adjusts.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes. Install the app, enable Moogoose as a keyboard in your Android settings, and you're ready to go. You can optionally set up a personal profile for more natural-sounding replies, but it's not required to start using the app immediately.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Conversation history and your profile are stored locally on your device, not on Moogoose-operated servers. When you ask Moogoose to compose a reply or use an AI feature, the relevant conversation context, your instruction, and optional profile data are sent securely to Google AI services / Gemini for processing. Voice recordings are temporary and deleted after processing. AI Profile Setup may temporarily save detailed profile notes, website grounding snippets, and URLs in onboarding_transcript.json for resumability and to avoid losing service/pricing/policy details before profile creation. These are sent to Google Gemini during onboarding/profile extraction. The temporary onboarding file is deleted after successful profile creation and also removed if app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. We do not use ads, tracking, analytics, crash reporting, Firebase remote logging, automatic debug upload, or data selling.
Does it work with iPhone?
Moogoose is currently available for Android only. We're exploring iOS support — if you'd like to be notified when it's available, message us on WhatsApp and we'll add you to the waiting list.
How much does it cost?
Moogoose is free during the beta period. We want as many people as possible to try it, give us feedback, and help us make it better. When we do introduce pricing, we'll keep it accessible — and beta testers will always get special consideration.
What languages does it support?
Moogoose supports over 70 languages for both voice input and written replies. You can speak in one language and have the reply composed in another — perfect for multilingual conversations. Language support is expanding with every update.
